Timeless Landscapes, Naturally
Timeless Landscapes, Naturally
At Oakleaf Landscape Design, we specialize in timeless, elegant design inspired by classic southern landscapes.
We believe your yard should be more that just a pretty backdrop. We create spaces for children to play, for friends to gather, for you to feel inspired by the natural world. Spaces that nourish our bodies, souls and ecosystems. That just so happen to look fantastic.
We put a high priority on creating landscapes that support our local wildlife, so we incorporate native plants where possible, help clients identify and remove invasive species, and provide recommendations for making our clients' yards a safe haven for birds, butterflies and other wild creatures (while keeping the pests at bay!)
Whether you're starting from scratch, need advice on a specific area of your yard, or want to create a dedicated functional space like a vegetable garden, pollinator garden or cut flower bed, we're here to help.
Our "soup to nuts" option. From creating a plan for your space, sourcing the right installer for the job, and overseeing all hardscape and planting, we handle every step of the process to transform your yard.
After meeting with you and walking your yard, we'll create a design mock-up and install-ready planting plan that you can either plant yourself or pass along to your landscaper.
Have an established landscape but aren't sure what plants you have or how to take care of them? Want to talk high-level about a garden game plan? Need help with a specific issue? Our one-hour garden consult is for you. We'll walk your space, share recommendations, and send you a short recap afterwards.
Sarah Seaborn earned her certification in Landscape Design from Emory University, but her hands-on gardening and design education began nearly two decades ago with a simple kitchen garden. Over the years, she's grown everything from vegetables to cut flowers to native shrubs and honed her plant and landscape knowledge from countless hours of reading, researching and good old fashioned trial and error in her own yard.
When Sarah's not designing for clients or digging around in her own garden, you can find her teaching yoga or spending time with her husband Michael, kiddos John and Vera, and pets Sawyer and Olive.
